Trinity House Paintings is an international art dealers and advisers, specialising in 19th century, Modern British, Impressionist and Post-impressionist works. It also offers consultative support and expertise for those buying, selling or maintaining a fine art collection. With galleries opened in London and New York, the art firm has grown from strength to strength since opening its flagship fine art gallery in the quintessential village of Broadway.

In light of the recent partnership with British artist, Neil B. Helyard - who is now sold exclusively through Trinity House, the gallery is currently running an exhibition of his work, titled ‘In the Eye of the Beholder’. The exhibition showcases Helyard’s breath-taking vision across a variety of mediums and distinctive styles, and takes place at the Broadway gallery from 18th September until 25th October.

Born in East Yorkshire in 1951, Neil B. Helyard turned to his passion of art from an early age. His pure expression of the beauty found in everyday life is captured through his habitual switching of styles, often ranging from classical to contemporary. His extensive work has won him many accolades, including the ‘Love and Legacy Prize’ by the Royal Society of Portrait Painters in 2014. His must-see work at Trinity House is best described as an eclectic mix of varying styles, which the artist himself explains, “A lot of artists only paint in one style, however for me, my style, whether it be classical, contemporary or expressive, depends very much on how I feel”.

Alongside the exhibition, Trinity House have recently announced its public support of the local charity WellChild, who take care of seriously ill children and their families. They launched the partnership by hosting a ‘meet the artist’ workshop for two lucky WellChild young ambassadors, who took part in an art tutoring session with Neil at the opening weekend of the exhibition. Trinity House Paintings have also generously donated art pieces to WellChild events and given away tickets to exclusive exhibitions to show their full support for the charity.

The Neil Helyard exhibition is still underway and will continue until 25th October. Make sure to pay a visit to the wonderful event if you haven’t already done so and show your support for WellChild.
